Our location just South of Richmond, Virginia off I-95 and near I-85 make us a perfect stop-over for weary travellers. Get off I-95 at exit 52, take a stroll around our shopping/dining loop, stretch your legs on the Appomattox River Trail, find a unique gift, explore our antiques stores, savor a meal, enjoy any of several regular music venues. A quick check in at the Visitor's Center will provide you with information on all current events.

Historic buildings and gorgeous architecture in our renovated Old Towne area create the perfect backdrop for regular festivals including Friday for the Arts! (held 6-10 pm on the 2nd Friday of each month), Nostalgiafest (held the first weekend in Oct.), and other events .

We hope after viewing information about our excellent restaurants, antiques and specialty shops and browsing the links to our historical sites, museums, and art galleries that you will plan a visit for a few hours or a few days!
